for we single mothers DUE to unforeseen circumstances, I became a single mum and was faced with two choices - stay at homo and receive income support or go to work and earn my own money. I chose to go back to work and I appreciate the help


I get due to my low income, but I resent the fact that I am sometimes made to feel small and unworthy. Shouldn’t society encourage single mums to go back


to work? I feel a little respect is due to us working mums,


rather than looking down on us. I t ’s hard being a single mum at the best of times and
