Local plan revision reveals conflicts

now being drawn up by the council and the first draft drew a steady flow of com ments - so much so that the deadline for them was extended for a full month. ‘ Now a second draft is
being prepared, with the Ribble Valley Borough Council Planning Depart ment having to juggle com plex and contradictory issues. Unsurprisingly, develop
