The Replacements, Sky Movies Premier, 8.20pm. Movies about IIS sports rarely do well on this side of the Atlantic. This one wasn’t a massive success, but is well worth' tuning in for. It’s a comedy based on the 1987 professional American football strike which rocked the game. A team owner is annoyed when his players all walk out, prompting him to enlist the services of a veteran coach to whip into shape a bunch of raw replace- ments. The excellent cast includes Gene Hackman, Jack Warden and Keanu Reeves.
