five years. This year's visit to Black

pool took place on the last day of the children's holiday and proved to be a fitting finale. As well as being given tick ets to see the show and meet-

ing the stars, the children were also given vouchers which enabled them to enjoy rides on the Pleasure Beach. The whole visit had been

organised by the show's pro ducer, Amanda Thompson, after she was approached by the ice dancers. "It was a privilege to meet

the children," said Mr Kislit syn. "I haven't been to Mogilev myself, but I have heard about how hard life is there. Natalia and I just wanted to do our bit to make some happy memories for them. Everybody needs happy memories and, in Mogilev, that's not so easy. I think the work that the Friends of Chernobyl Chil dren do is wonderful, just wonderful." The ice dancers are pic

tured with the visitors from Belorussiya.
