Former grammar school pupils travel from afar - even America - for a special reunion
FORMER Clitheroe Royal Grammar School pupils trav elled from across the Atlantic and Aberystwyth to the Moorcock Inn, Waddington,
for a special reunion. Thirty-eight women who had
started at the Ribble Valley school in September, 1951, gathered together for the first time since they left in either 1956 or 1958. Joining them for the occasion were three other former CRGS pupils, one who
was visiting from Down Under. Furthest travelled specifically for the
celebration was Judith Hartley - now Mrs Spencer - who came from her home in
Oregon, America. She was joined by for mer classmates from all over the country who came to the North-West for the get- together. To help with identification, everyone

Your sunny charms are winning admirers left, right and centre so do not be a shrinking violet. Only one small matter of domestic finances needs a little practical effort, then you can set sail from Saturday on a round of fun social events, where you will sparkle in the spotlight and generally be a star. Maybe one friend will prove a disappointment. But you have known for some time that you were being over hopeful. Call my Aries line to hear more.

More and more you really want to settle at home or in familiar surroundings with those who make you feel reassured. Push away demands on your time and attention and aim for peace. You will want to entertain, indulge and generally luxuriate, so you will be eating well, smoothing out family tensions, and thinking about adding beautiful touches at home. Maybe you will temporarily lose direction at work, feeling a little uncertain about what comes next. But this is not the time for instant decisions. Call my Taurus line to hear more.

Give yourself a moment to sort out one practical matter, which has been hanging around for too long. You know you want to get rid of inessentials in your life and this may just be the time to abandon one more piece of unwanted baggage. Then you will be skipping along smartly, in an increasingly busy schedule, with letters, phone calls and snort distance trips to keep boredom well at bay. Next week you may be unsure of what you are actually trying to say. Collect your scattered wits before leaping in discussions.
