week's recipe is home-made peach conserve, which Linda sells in the restaurant. The peach conserve, together with jams, jellies, chutneys and pickles, all on sale, are made by local celebrity cook Mrs Maureen Bowe, and the proceeds go to a chan ty nominated by Gisburn WI and to WI funds. Already this year, she has sold 4501b. of jam.
