'the achievement. f Mr Barry Singleton, a voluntary youth worker who runs the Hoddcr Youth Club with his wife Shirley, received a Youthworks cer tificate from the Lancashire Youth Clubs Association. In July a group of nine youth club members organ ised a residential trip on board a canal boat. After collecting the boat from Barrowford the group navi gated its way through 21 locks to arrive in Gargrave for a pre-planned ren dezvous at a chip shop. The group, which com
