The wedding extravaganza

that’s a must F

ORGET ploughing through the tele phone directory — the East Lancashire Newspapers Bridal Fayre has every

thing to make your wedding day extra special. With dozens of stalls offering everything for your

wedding day, this month’s Bridal Fayre — spon sored by Wilcon Homes — will be the biggest and

best in East Lancashire. It is being held a week on Sunday, September

21st. The venue is the sumptuous banqueting suite in

Turf Moor’s brand-new multi-million pound North

Stand. Doors will open at 11-30 to a literal Aladdin s cave — everything for the best day of your lives will be

under one roof. Stalls featuring anything and everything to do with

getting hitched — from cars to cakes and hats to honeymoons — will be in the banqueting suite. Bridal fashion experts from Cupid International

have teamed up with Novak’s Menswear to provide an hour-long wedding fashion extravaganza starting

at 1-30 p.m. Models will present a range of stunning bridal

gowns, bridegrooms’ clothes and bridesmaids

dresses on the catwalk. As well as the fashion show, soloist Stephen Burrows will sing popular wedding hymns — and

offer his services. Wedding cars — including limousines — will greet

Turf Moor, Burnley, Sunday, September 21st

visitors as they arrive at Turf Moor. Once inside the exhibition proper, brides and

bridcgrooms-to-bc will find stalls offering wedding cakes, jewellery advice and hairdressing tips. There will also be a mobile beautician to make

sure you look the very best on your day. Staff from Busy Llz-zacs: Going Dutch florist will

show some of their very best bridal bouquet cre ations and a specialist balloon-maker will give any

room that extra touch. Professional video and still cameramen can be

booked to provide a lasting memento of your wed

ding day. And travel agents will make sure your first holiday

as a married couple really is the honeymoon of a

lifetime. One lucky couple entered in the Wedding of the

Year competition will find out if they arc the cho sen pair at 3-30 p.m. Finalists should make sure they are there to claim their prize. East Lancashire Newspapers Business

Development Manager Lynne Winter said: “The Bridal Fayre earlier this year drew the biggest crowd yet, around 800 people. This one will be the biggest — and the best — in the whole of East Lancashire thanks to all the sponsors and slallhold

e rs” Admission is free and refreshments will be avail

able on the day. Any last-minute would-be exhibitors requiring a stand should contact Lynne

Winter on 4261G1.

We look forward to seeing you at the Bridal Fayre to be held m the Banqueting Suite at Burnley Football Club on Sunday, September 21st, 1997 from 11.30 am to 4.00 pm
