this weekend. Given three days of good weather,
the organisers know that the show has all the ingredients to ensure it is
one of the best ever. The venue is Astley Park, Chorley, and

There is to be a special Ladies’ Marquee with a designer fashion show of both men and women's clothes by Sunday Best of Rawtenstall, a display of colour and style co-ordination by Total Image of t’en- wortham and a millinery display by T V personality and hat historian Donald Lovet Fraser, entitled: “Hats Between the Wars.” Additionally, a substantial prize is being offered for the best dressed lady at the show on that day, to be selected by a panel of judges including Leslie Goring, producer of the BBC “Clothes Show .
The judges will tour the showground dur ing the day and invite 12 well turned out
judging. Friday also features ladies’ show jumping, with a special qualifying class for Wemb ley, while on Sunday there will be two flower arranging demonstrations with international floral artist Ian Zorn.
