a five-club single strokeplay event. Brian Edmondson returned 81-9-72 to
win Division One ahead of Captain-elect Rob Hindle and Bert Hemingway — both of whom handed in 83-11-72. Eddie Preedy returned 85-17-68 to win
Division Two, Ken Mantle claiming run ners-up spot with 88-18-70 and Keith
being completed last week.

dovetailed superbly to win Sunday’s four- ball Stableford with 46 points, one more than Alan Tubb and John Mercer in run ners-up spot. Mike Fletcher and Bill Tattersall (44
points) finished third on the card from Mark Jones and Philip Shaw, Richard Read and Ken Lord totalling 43 points to claim fifth on the card from Chris Hamer and Robert Caine.

frames and Sims, after regain ing his County shirt, won two of three, both playing for the B team who won 22-11. Almond and Derbyshire were
substitutes and expect to make their debuts in the next match at home to Liverpool next month. For the record, the A team won 21-12 and the Lancashire' Ladies won 24-9. RESULTS
