Multi-Skilled Craftsmen/Women
Based at our Rossendale Road site, you will work as an integral part of the team in the Micro Relay Module which consists o f metal cutting, metal pressing, plastic moulding and assembly machines. I f successful, you will be closely involved maintaining, setting and monitoring the machines to achieve the necessary quality and production requirements.
You must have served a recognised toolmaking apprenticeship and have a good understanding of pneumatic hydraulic and electrical/electronic applications. Experience in machine tool development and formal engineering qualifications would help your application. The essential personal qualities we are looking for include flexibility and the ability to work as part o f a team. Full training will be given on specific machines.
You will work 37 hours as follows:
12.00 p.m. - 9.45 p.m. Monday to Thursday We are offering an attractive salary plus benefits including 25 days’ holiday and company pension scheme.
Setter Operator Weekend Shift
Based at our Eastern Avenue site, you will work as an integral part of the team in the Moulding section. The job carries full responsibility for the operation of a small bank of injection moulding machines, this includes setting, operating, T.Q.C. and general housekeeping.
Although die position is as detailed above a certain amount of flexibility will be required to meet departmental needs. You must have served a recognised engineering apprenticeship and have some knowledge of injection moulding. The essential personal qualities we are looking for include flexibility and the ability to work as part of a team. Full training will
be given on specific machines. You will work 32 hours, Fri, Sat, Sun alternating days and nights.
