The postholder will assist with the Billing and Recovery of the Community Charge and the National Non-Domestic Rate and will arrange appropriate payment methods with Chargepayers.


The successful applicant will be expected to maintain an efficient recovery system for defaulting payers and to pursue the recovery ot arrears where Chargepayers and Ratepayers have left the property and to process all data through the computerised Billing and Recovery System. He/she should have the ability to deal with members ol the public In connection with Billing and Recovery enquiries and to liaise with the Council's Bailiff when necessary. Previous experience ot this type of work would be an advantage.
