PLANNING approval lias been given to the forma tion of a new playground at St Mary’s RC Primary School. Langho. Five letters of objection
and one of support were received by Kibble V alley Council’s Development Sub-committee. Councillors heard that
the playground marked the second stage of a three-phase plan brought about by serious over crowding. Granting the apphea
lion, the committee re commended that the play ground be positioned nine metres from the rear boundaries of properties fronting Wind ley Road and not three metres.
