NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lancashire County Council propose to make an Order under Section 1. 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regula­ tion Act 1984. the effect of which will be to prohibit the waiting of motor vehicles, at


any time, on the lengths of ro a d s p e c i f ie d in the Schedule to this Notice.


The Order will contain ex­ emptions to allow motor vehi­ cles to wait for as long as necessary to enable goods to be loaded onto or unloaded from the motor vehicle and to allow motor vehicles to wail for as long as necessary to enable persons to board or alight, or. to enable it to be used in connection with any building operation or demoli­ tion and the maintenance of essential services on the lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
