A CONDUCTOR with Ribble Motor. Services for nearly 30 years, Mr Tom Thornber, has died in hos pital at the age of 70. Mr Thomber, of George
Street, Clitheroe, was bom in the town and at tended St James’s School. He was a weaver in Brown’s Mill, Henthorn, before joining the Lanca sh ire Regiment. ■

war, he joined Ribble, for whom he worked until his retirement in 1974. Mr Thornber, a bachelor, was a keen walker. ' The fun’eral service and cremation was at Accring
