A CLITHEROE transport firm is contending that the Ribble Valley Council had no authority to grant planning approval for the proposed Booth’s supermarket. Smith Transport, which


occupies part of the Sta­ tion Road site, had asked the High Court to quash planning approval because of certain “discrepancies” in Booth’s original applica­ tion. . This was submitted and
