were second — four points behind Norden. Held at the Ribblesdale Pool, the gala was organised


by the Ribble Valley School Sports Association, and directed by Mr W. A. Smithson, physical education


part in the 72 events. They were from Whiteacre, Moorlands, St Augus­


master at Ribblesdale. Pictured are some of the 270 boys and girls who took
