THE NORTH WESTERN ELECTRICITY BOARD Electricity Tariffs 5

Norweb are to simplify domestic and other quarterly tariffs by consolidating the fuel cost adjustment (the “fuel charge” shown on bills) with the basic unit price., The fuel charge is now 0.258p per unit and this amount will * be added to each basic unit price. The fuel charge will be . withdrawn, so that unit prices will be unchanged until the next normal tariff revision and will no longer be subject to a regular quarterly adjustment to reflect fuel cost changes. .

This change will apply to quarterly tariffs from 1 January 1979, appearing on quarterly bills for meter readings taken on or after 1 April 1979.

All quarterly tariffs are affected and tariff leaflets showing • the consolidated rates are available on application to any of the Board’s shops or offices or by post from the Secretary, Norweb, Cheetwood Road, Manchester M8 8BA. Copies of the statutory notice are also available.
