Youth Club held a spon­ sored non-stop table tennis game from 4-30 p:m. on Friday to 4-30 p.m. the following day. -. Mark and Terry Brath- waite, Graham Kenyon, / Steven Knowles, Graeme Robinson, Aidan Roney and Christopher Swar-' brick along with leader Mr G. Braithwaite completed: the task of keeping the ball in play , for the whole 24 hours.

available for the senior citizens party, an annual event much looked for­ ward to by the elderly of Downham. Their next planned event is on Satur­ day, when they hope the weather will be kind enough for another coffee morning and car wash- from 9-30 a.m. to 12-30.
