various third world nations, they portrayed the modern image of missionaries and the different societies- supported by charity work. A total of £140 was raised
for the Church Missionary Society, the Church Pastoral Aid Society, the Sudan United Mission and the British Chur chman’s Missionary Society. The evening's fun started
with side shows and stalls, including a very popular “wel- lie throwing” competition. Hot dogs and beefburgers were on sale, along with more traditional sandwiches and cakes. -
