Tool Tec Stealth P1 ROV Skid: ‘Making Light Work of Heavy Loads’
The TOOL TEC STEALTH P1 ROV Skid is a high- performance modular solution engineered to redefine operational efficiency for subsea operations. By utilising lightweight composite materials and an innovative interlocking framework, the STEALTH P1 significantly reduces in-water weight, requiring less buoyancy to achieve a neutral balance. Tool Tec debuted the Skid in February of 2026 at the Subsea Expo where it was presented to industry leaders from all over the world.
This advanced weight optimisation directly translates into a superior payload-to-mass ratio. The result allows operators to carry more specialised tools and heavy equipment without sacrificing vehicle stability or manoeuvrability.
The user-centric design of the STEALTH P1 includes removable panels that provide immediate access to internal components. This ensures that reconfiguration or routine maintenance can be performed rapidly, minimising vessel downtime and maximising mission success in demanding offshore environments.
