Perfect pastry products — from Central Foods
Frozen food distributor Central Foods has unveiled a tasty new range of easy-to-serve pastry products.
It includes a selection of stunning quiches and a delicious deep dish apple pie…all popular options to include on any menu.
Available in six different flavours, the Menuserve frozen quiches are offered whole or ready cut into 12 portions for convenience and to help reduce wastage.
The 11inch diameter Menuserve quiches are available in the following flavours: cheese and onion, tomato and basil, Spanish style featuring red and green peppers, cheese and broccoli, Mediterranean style featuring red and yellow peppers and courgette, and Quiche Lorraine.
All are suitable for vegetarians, apart from the Quiche Lorraine.
The quiches are made in the traditional way with real egg and mature Cheddar cheese, and other ingredients (depending on variety), encased in golden shortcrust pastry. Each portion of the ready-cut quiches is approximately 100g.

Meanwhile, the Menuserve deep dish apple pie is packed with juicy, sliced apples encased in golden shortcrust pastry and is also pre-portioned into 12 generous slices, which can be individually defrosted as required to help reduce wastage.
For maximum convenience and to further reduce wastage, the apple pie has a defrosted shelf-life of four days when chilled.
