LIVE 24-SEVEN - COMMENT LI V E24 IN THE WYE VALLEY AND COTSWOLDS // APRIL 2026 WELCOME TO LIVE 24-SEVEN MAGAZINE Welcome to the April edition of your Live 24-Seven magazine
We are now officially into spring although there were days last month when it certainly felt far from spring-like but we did have some sunny days later in March with gardens now full of blossom. Hopefully we can start to enjoy spring and of course Easter and soon the first of the Bank Holidays.
LIVE 24-SEVEN – THE MIDLANDS PREMIER LUXURY LIFESTYLE MAGAZINE & PROPERTY GUIDE
Our stunning April front cover comes courtesy of regular advertiser and contributor, Simply Wild, a rising star in the forest.
Local chef Michael Fowler and his team were delighted to receive a third AA rosette last week for his Forest of Dean restaurant Simply Wild in Coleford.
For all you Coronation Street fans, we have an interview this month with Wendi Peters, Wendi famously played the iconic character Cilla Battersby-Brown for many years. In this interview she talks about her latest role on stage in Glourious, a celebration of the tone-deaf American socialite, Florence Foster Jenkins, whose sold-out concerts attracted audiences spellbound by her musical ineptitude.
Of course we also have spring fashion and beauty for you from our resident contributors Julia Suzuki and Naomi Holliday, news from the Farm and a fabulous article on everyones favourite TV foodie turned garden writer, Dame Mary Berry, from our very own TV horticulturist Camilla Bassett-Smith.
Looking to get out and about, we of course have our usual what’s on guide, but also this month we bring you an article on The Golden Valley: Herefordshire’s Quiet Arcadia, tucked beneath the eastern slopes of the Black Mountains near the Welsh border. Running for roughly twelve miles through western Herefordshire, the valley follows the winding River Dore, threading together ancient villages, medieval churches and a countryside that feels suspended between past and present.
The Midlands Property and Interiors Guide is full of great features and information this month, if you are looking to have your own Spring makeover, or planning that big move then don’t miss the stunning properties and new developments we bring you in this bumper section, including a stunning property of the month, positioned on one of the most prestigious addresses within the Four Oaks Estate, Cameron House, Ladywood Road is a magnificent Arts and Crafts residence offering circa 6,300 sq ft of elegant accommodation, take a look.
