LIVE 24-SEVEN - COMMENT WELCOME EDITOR

TO OUR NOV EMB E R MAGA Z INE

Welcome to the November edition of Live 24-Seven magazine. I cannot believe how quickly we are hurtling towards the end of the year and Christmas. After a rather shaky start, we have enjoyed some late summer events and there seem to be plenty more to come before the year is out which our entertainment section is testament to.

SALES DIRECTOR

Sharon Napper s.napper@hotmail.co.uk 07980 313 916

This month we are putting the focus very much on our region. It’s time to start thinking about that Christmas shopping if you don’t want a last minute dash around the shops. We put the spotlight on shopping in our independent stores which offer great personal service, often unique goods and all round, a more pleasurable shopping experience whilst also adding money into our local economies rather than just the bank balances of the big multi-nationals.

I also paid a visit to Hereford, seeing it through the eyes of a tourist. We may not have been able to get away to faraway shores this year but we have a surprising wealth of attractions here on our own doorstep so it’s well worth considering a more local destination when planning your next mini-break.

At the heart of the city is of course the Cathedral and last month it welcomed a brand new Dean and this month she shares her thoughts on her exciting new role.

MARKETING DIRECTOR Tina Thomas-Bassett tina@live24-seven.com 07980 830084

And last but not least it is time to say farewell to one of our team, sales director Sharon Napper. After many years with the magazine looking after customers across the region, Sharon has decided it is time to put her feet up and enjoy some quality time with her husband and dog. We wish her well. Joining the team will be Karen Jones who has many years’ experience in lifestyle magazines too and we know our customers will be in safe hands with her.

Have a fabulous November and see you next month, Sally-ann
