Bound in chains as punishment for a lifetime of greed, the unearthly figure explains it isn’t too late for Scrooge to change his miserly ways. LEAMINGTON’S ANNUAL LANTERN PARADE Leamington town centre on the 1st December Hundreds of families will welcome in the festive season at Leamington’s annual Lantern Parade with a dazzling display of lanterns lighting up the town centre on the 1st December.


This much-loved event will see the local community parade homemade paper lanterns featuring mythical creatures, rockets, stars and planets, as well as traditional snowmen and Christmas trees through the town for this year’s sparkling spectacular. Featur- ing a host of entertainment including glowing stilt walkers who lead the parade, music from David Harrop, the Methodist Choir, Royal Spa Brass along with a surprise appearance from Santa as well.
