Looking at Renée’s work, one might think that she studied architecture but that is not the case.
In fact, the reason behind her choice of subject is a fascination with the tension and
life one can sense in a city, the materials used in the buildings, their textures, the design, the story and purpose of the building, of urban architecture as the pillar of our collective historical memory.
