Sandy grew up in the Metropolitan area of New Jersey and was very influenced by exposure to the arts through galleries, museums and theater in NYC. She came to Canada as a college exchange student, settled and currently embraces living on the West Coast of beautiful Vancouver Island. She found her passion for painting midlife, following a teaching career, is largely self- taught and works intuitively.
