Style and technique change from canvas to canvas, the common thread being the confidence of the brushwork. He is also a closet sculptor, working in metal, concrete and wood.
Striving always to improve his craft led him to teaching. Although reluctant at first, he
started a painting group, Studio Twenty, where artists could come to paint and learn. This led to a greater understanding of how to teach and culminated with the creation of three books: first one, second printing sold out, however soon to be available as his first digital book “How to Paint in Acrylics”, which was followed by “Acrylic Techniques” and the third book is “Mixing Colour” which became available this year.
