Peter is an avid and prolific landscape painter working mostly in acrylics although on occasion he works in acrylics, watercolour, and cold wax (similar to encaustics).
The
dappled forest light, changing seasons and the Niagara Escarpment are common themes in his work.
In recent years, he has spent time on the East Coast of Canada, painting on site and taking thousands of photos to explore in studio. Reid’s work is not static.
