SETH MCKINNEY, D.C. (Main, `16), joined Neighborhood Health in Indianapolis, Indiana, in early 2023 as the center’s only Doctor of Chiropractic. Neighborhood Health also provides medical, dental, vision and behavioral health care.

KELLY MANTONYA, D.C. (Main, `91), sold her practice in Heath, Ohio, and retired in January 2023.


OTTO JANKE, D.C. (Main, `92), had an article, “Side effects of the Chiropractic Adjustment: And questions which arise,” published in the April 2023 issue of Asia-Pacific Chiropractic Journal.


GERARD “JERRY” DUNLAVEY, D.C. (Main, `96), was appointed CEO of Garnet Health Medical Center - Catskills in June 2023. Prior to his appointment, Dr. Dunlavey served as vice president of operations for Garnet Health and chief operating officer for Garnet Health Medical Center – Catskills.


JACK BOURLA, D.C. (West, `97), began his tenure as president of Sherman College of Chiropractic in December 2022. Prior to beginning his role as president, Dr. Bourla ran a private practice in Redwood City, California, for 25 years.


GREGORY COOK, D.C. (Main, `97), opened Cook Chiropractic in West Branch, Iowa, in June 2023. Dr. Cook relocated to West Branch from Crystal Lake, Illinois, where he operated a clinic for 25 years.

DAN SCHUMACHER, D.C. (Main, `02), celebrated 20 years in practice and serving his community of Harlan, Iowa. Dr. Schumacher’s legacy continues with his daughter, Madison, who recently started her journey to chiropractic on Palmer’s main campus.


MATTHEW SISAK, D.C. (Main, `04), was advanced from Associate Professor to Professor, Biological Sciences at Pennsylvania Highlands Community College. Dr. Sisak began his career as a full-time instructor in 2014. He currently serves as president of Sisak Chiropractic Clinic, P.C.


CODY and TIFFANY (THORNE) KURSCHEIDT, D.C.S (Main, `07), opened Calumet County Chiropractic in Chilton, Wisconsin, in June 2023.

ANGELA PIERCE, D.C. (Main, `10), was named the Assistant Dean of Whole Health Integration at the Alice L. Walton School of Medicine in Bentonville, Arkansas. Prior to this role, Dr. Pierce served on the executive leadership team at Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine.


ERIKA EQUIZI, D.C. (Florida, `16), celebrated the grand reopening of the new


CHARBEL MEDLEJ, D.C. (Main, `16), was named as the new head men’s rugby coach at the University of Mary Washington. Dr. Medlej played rugby at UMW prior to playing for the men’s team at Palmer and coaching the women’s national place winner team in fall 2021. He currently practices at Can Am Chiropractic in Fredericksburg, Virginia.


ADAM MILLER, D.C. (Main, `16), was appointed team chiropractor for the MLS New England Revolution soccer team. Dr. Miller has also cared for NFL football players, Olympic gold medalists, U.S. skating champions, NHL hockey players, professional boxers and wrestlers. He practices alongside his father, Michael Miller, D.C. (Main, `79), who served as team chiropractor for the New England Patriots for 38 seasons, including six Super Bowl championship seasons.


MICHAEL PEZZONE, D.C. (Florida, `18), recently joined Maven Imaging, a leading provider of advanced imaging solutions. In addition, he started his own business to help fellow chiropractors “integrate cutting edge modalities such as Class IV laser and shockwave therapy into their clinics.”

BENJAMIN HANSEN, D.C. (Main, `20), joined the Sanford Health Jamestown Clinic in Jamestown, North Dakota, in March 2023. The clinic is part of Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States.
