by teaming up with textile house Dedar to conjure a futuristic home-office-inspired Studio. There were transatlantic alliances too: New York/London-based Michaelis Boyd created a quietly luxurious Primary Bathroom with House of Rohl and acclaimed British interior design firm Veere Grenney Associates paired with the iconic American design house Schumacher. The Courtyard Bedroom that resulted was a place of handsome restraint and extraordinary skill. The talent on display at WOW!house 2024 was
breathtaking. This was a temporary house, decorated in five days to last for just five weeks, but from the inside it felt like a real – if fantastically appointed – home. This was partly thanks to the involvement of three studios with architectural expertise. Guy Goodfellow installed a colonnade that made visitors believe they were entering the Tissus d'Hélène Drawing Room through a winter garden.
