DESIGNS TO INSPIRE

Get the look from this issue’s stand-out projects – from a cosy sitting room filled with eclectic finds to a glorious panelled library in a Georgian mansion

THE BEDROOM In this west London Edwardian house, interior designer Anna Haines has brought warmth and

charm. To balance colour and texture on the bed, use C & C Milano’s ‘Oscar’ linen as a throw and the ‘Rio’ fabric by Colony by Casa Luiza for cushions. Julian Chichester’s ‘Bobbin’ carver chair and the ‘Gracia’ bedside table from Oficina Inglesa Furniture bring a traditional element. Ceramics like Paolo Moschino Ltd’s ‘Globular’ vase, the ‘Pagan’ bowl by Alexander Lamont and a 1960s Scandinavian jug from Antique Modern Mix add interest, while the ‘Kasbah’ rug by Jennifer Manners Designs is cosy underfoot.

THE LOBBY The Hoxton Poblenou hotel in Barcelona was informed by the work of late Spanish architect

Ricardo Bofill. To get the look conceived by Ennismore, introduce geometrics like the raffia ‘Sol’ wallcovering by Elitis, the ‘Lacis’ velvet in ambre by Lelièvre Paris and C & C Milano’s ‘Delfi’ fabric. Natural textures can be found in the wooden ‘Cow Horn’ chair by PP Møbler at Tollgard and the rattan ‘Indiana’ pendant and ceramic ‘Tangiers’ table lamp, both from Arteriors. The ‘Cinchona’ fabric in pampas grass by George Spencer Designs mimics the potted plants.
