La Biennale di Venezia, 18th International Architecture Exhibition Until 26 November Venice, Italy
It’s the final call to visit Italy’s International Architecture Exhibition as part of the Biennale series. Open to the public and titled ‘The Laboratory of the Future’, 89 participants respond to various briefs with a focus on diversity and sustainability. It is curated by Lesley Lokko and is divided into six parts that includes 89 participants, over half of whom are from Africa or the African Diaspora.

FX Awards 2023 29 November JW Marriott Grosvenor House London
The FX Awards gala returns this month to celebrate the very best in design. It will be a night of laughter and dancing as we enlist Hugh Dennis to present the category winners with their prestigious HI-MACS-made FX Award, following a delicious three-course dinner. The last few tickets are available to buy, so we hope you can join us too, but you have to be quick! We look forward to seeing you there.

REBEL: 30 Years of London Fashion Until 11 February 2024 Design Museum, London
This exhibition celebrates the work of over 300 young designers and their sensational impact on the global fashion scene, which showcases London’s unique fashion culture on the world stage. Some of the items on display include The Swan dress worn by Björk at the 2001 Oscars, Harry Styles’ Steven Stokey Daley outfit from his video for ‘Golden’ and Sam Smith’s inflatable latex suit by HARRI from this year’s BRIT Awards.

4 Lost and Found 15 December 2023 – 6 January 2024 Factory International, Manchester
The stage adaptation of Oliver Jeffers’ award- winning children’s book Lost and Found will open as part of Factory International’s opening season at its flagship new venue in Manchester, Aviva Studios. Adapted and directed by BAFTA award-winning director Will Brenton, it tells the story of friendship and loneliness, following the journey of a little boy who finds a penguin on his doorstep.

A World In Common: Contemporary African Photography Until 14 January 2024 Tate Modern, London
This exhibition celebrates the dynamic landscape of photography across the African continent today by bringing together 36 artists from different generations and geographies. It explores how photography and video has allowed artists to examine legacies of the past while imagining more hopeful futures. It reveals shared artistic visions that reclaim Africa’s histories and reimagine its place in the world.
