MAPEI
Mapei preparation products have been used to complete an Altro floor installation at a new community venue in Buckinghamshire. Works were completed by HC Coverings for Borras Construction, with sheet vinyl and walkway flooring installed using Mapei floor preparation products and EMICODE EC1 Plus- certified adhesive. Mapeproof One Coat damp-proof membrane was applied to suppress residual and construction moisture. Eco Prim Grip Plus and Latexplan Trade levelling and smoothing compound were then applied and flooring was installed with Ultrabond Eco VS90 Plus.

There’s a further addition to Thonet’s latest chair range, the S 220, with a need for flexibility in mind. The collection, which features elegant moulded plywood chairs (with and without armrests) and a comfortable bar stool, now also boasts a swivel chair. The OWO (Old War Ofice) hotel opened for the first time to the public in summer 2023 as the UK’s first Rafles Hotel offering 85 unique private residences, nine exciting restaurants, three iconic bars, Guerlain’s first London Spa and an active wellness by Pillar Wellbeing. Working with EPR Architects and Ardmore Construction, partitioning expert Style was specified to subdivide the impressive main ballroom with a 6.5m-high Dorma Huppe Variflex semi-automatic moveable wall. With an incredible 60dB acoustic rating, noisy events can take place either side of the wall without sound interference, and the operable wall has a chic fabric finish to perfectly complement the interior design of the room.
