efficiently, expand into new markets, and improve profitability. Sessions carry a fee and are generally sponsored, but for that you do get specific expertise in the 1hr sessions. A full list of seminars are at https://iwfatlanta.com/iwf- education-conference. Here’s a few tasters of interesting presentations:

Levelling Up Your Shop with Automation and Robotics AUG 25, 2026 | 9:00 – 10:00AM | B301 Top Shop, a US manufacturer of custom- crafted, commercial cabinetry and countertops will cover this trending subject. In 2024, Top Shop invested in new automated and robotic machinery to upgrade its cabinet production operations. The upgrades have not only levelled up

Top Shop’s operations and throughput capacity but have also led the company to evolve many of its business practices and reimagine the company’s direction. Top Shop management will provide

a shop’s “inside” perspective on what these types of upgrades and machinery investments can actually look like and mean for a commercial casework fabricator.

Reducing Material Costs and Improving Board Quality, While Measuring Your Formaldehyde Emissions AUG 25, 2026 | 1:00 – 2:00PM | B311 This session, presented by Fagus-GreCon, will discuss measuring and evaluating of your board mat formation process in order

to improve/maintain board quality while reducing the amount of material (wood, wax, resin) in every board.

This will include different ways to

analyze the mat and ways to improve board formation; a discussion on how foreign objects can also be discovered during this process; and how to save money by reducing materials in your mat while achieving as good or better results.

It will also review the evolution of formaldehyde measurement from the lab to inline.

How Data Saved My Company: A Simple Approach to Seeing the Truth in Your Business AUG 26, 2026 | 9:00 – 10:00AM | B303 This INNERGY session shares a real-world example of how a business leader used clear, organized data to uncover hidden issues and turn a struggling operation around. Attendees will learn how basic visibility into job costs, production trends, and workflow bottlenecks can reveal problems that aren’t obvious day to day. The focus is on practical, accessible steps any manufacturer can take to start making better decisions, protect margins, and create more stability using the information they already have. Aside from the conference sessions and exhibition stands, IWF is also known for having a fun element with its IWF Night At The Tabernacle (NATT) – the official IWF show party. At IWF 2022 and 2024, more than 1,000 attendees and exhibitors came out to NATT to socialize, connect, and recharge after show hours.

This year’s event takes place on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, 8:00-11:00pm

IWF CONCEPT GROWING IWF is not sitting on its laurels – it is expanding its show concept in 2027 with the addition of a second regional show IWF West. IWF West will extend IWF’s long-running Atlanta franchise in a three-day trade show built to serve both the burgeoning southwestern US marketplace and IWF’s large national attendee base. It will run on August 25 to 27, 2027 in San Antonio, Texas. It has been created largely in response to

growing attendee customer and exhibitor demand for a new trade show experience timed between the biennial IWF Atlanta stagings and sited in a major southwestern city central to the rapidly expanding Sunbelt marketplace. Sited in the Henry B González

Convention Centre, the show will be sponsored by the Wood Industry Association (WIA) and produced and managed by Atlanta-based IWF. Its projected size is 70,000ft2

of exhibition

space, comprising 300 manufacturers. Projected attendance is about 4,200 people. A carefully curated mix of manufacturers will represent the best of IWF Atlanta, plus new first-time exhibitors making their IWF debut. An extensive mix of machinery, machinery-

related products and services, components, supplies and non-machinery related products will be the focus points. San Antonio is the country’s seventh-largest city. In Texas, only Houston is bigger.
