CROSS-BORDER CONSTRUCTION LINKING EUROPE


The new Lyon-Turin railway line is around 270 km long and will connect France and Italy to bring the European railway network to the next level. Herrenknecht supplies up to seven TBM for the internation section under the Alps. The 57.5 km long Mont Cenis base tunnel – 12.5 km in Italy and 45 in France – will link the international stations of Saint-Jean-de- Maurienne and Susa. The TBMs with diameters of more than 10 meters will be supported by 24 Conveyor Belts Systems and 26 Multi-service Vehicles of the Herrenknecht Group. herrenknecht.com/telt
