Operations Director
An exciting opportunity to join Johnsons Hotel Linen in a senior role as Operations Director. Johnsons Hotel Linen is the leading textile rental company, supplying national hotel chains and independent hotels in mainland UK, we are proud to be part of Johnson Service Group Plc. We wish to attract appli- cations for this exciting role from experienced Operations Directors, or those wishing to progress to a more senior role, to join our senior team of Johnsons Hotel Linen and reporting to the Managing Direc- tor. Role
Johnsons Hotel Linen value employee engagement, as well as providing a sustainable service. Key responsibilities include the maximising of turnover, profit, customer retention and growth within our operations, ensuring adherence to Company policies and procedures for the employment and continued welfare of all associated employees. Achieving proactive management of our employees, profitability, service delivery and sustainable operations at all factory locations are key responsibilities of the role, as well as budgetary control and effective communication to drive efficiency and excellent service delivery throughout all plants, assisted by Area Operations Managers.
Candidate
Essentials: • Proven experience of operational leadership. • Strategic level understanding of operational delivery and how to drive continuous improvement, with proven achievements.
• Significant knowledge of strategic planning, budgeting and financial management. • Strong communication skills both written and verbal, plus strong influencing skills. • Ability to build and maintain collaborative and effective working relationships at all levels in the business, supply chain and customers.
• Ability to operate successfully in a demanding role in a high-pressure service delivery environment. • Leading and developing multi-disciplinary teams, creating an environment of high performance and trust through inclusive leadership behaviours.
• Working knowledge of data analysis, business KPI and performance metrics. • Aptitude in decision making and problem-solving. • Experience of achieving sustainable operations and solutions.
Desirables: • Proven experience of leading multi-site operations. • Experience in the commercial laundry and textile rental sector.
