SHOW PREVIEW | INTERNATIONAL WORKBOAT SHOW
LET’S GET TO WORK
The International WorkBoat Show has been an industry tradition for over four decades. This year’s event features a strong line-up of crane and material handling equipment for port and terminal operators. DLM brings them all together in our indispensable show guide.
T
he International WorkBoat Show is a trade show and conference designed specifically for commercial vessel
owners, operators, builders and the vendors and suppliers who support them. Alongside an extensive exhibition floor space, the show features a highly rated conference programme and some special events, offering a great environment to network.
Key details An annual fixture in the exhibition calendar, this year’s event takes place from 3–5 December at the Morial Convention Centre in New Orleans. Before we dive into the exhibitor list,
there are a few extra events you might want to consider – these typically come at an additional cost, but you can buy tickets when you register or add them as extras after. Back for its second year, the Women in Maritime Summit returns bringing together women and allies from across the maritime industry for an afternoon of connection, insight and inspiration. Organisers promise that this year’s summit has a more interactive format, featuring two presentations followed by roundtable discussions. The first session focuses on the power of networks and how to strengthen professional connections in the maritime industry. It will explore the impact of peer networks, cross-sector mentorship and industry associations in advancing maritime careers at every stage.
It is followed by ‘Innovation at Sea and
Ashore: Maritime Solutions for a Changing World’. This session explores emerging technologies, sustainability initiatives and operational advancements reshaping the maritime industry. Panellists will share insights into what the future may hold. The discussion will also highlight how the next generation of
