Irugasa Remote Control Systems: 25 Years of Innovation
The year 2025 marks the 25th anniversary of Irugasa Remote Control Systems, but our story begins well before that. Formed in the late 1980s, Irugasa quickly became a leader in export sales for the growing lifting equipment industry in the Basque region of northern Spain. Through these efforts, Irugasa helped expand the global presence of local enterprises, paving the way for the establishment of independent Irugasa companies.
Growth in the UK
Irugasa (UK) was founded in 1994 and became a standalone company in 2000. Since 1997, we have proudly partnered with IKUSI, first as Industrial Remote Control Systems, and later transitioning into Irugasa Remote Controls. Throughout this journey, our commitment to serving the UK lifting industry has remained constant.

In 2018, Danfoss Power Solutions acquired the Radio Control Division of Ikusi Velatia. With continuous product innovation from
