technologies integrated into established processes that have secured OMIS’s international success, especially the H Series wire rope hoists, flagship products of the current lifting equipment range. On the first day, participants were divided

into groups for a guided tour of the Sandrigo (VI) headquarters, production lines for standard equipment, the plant where special high-capacity cranes are produced, and units dedicated to workstations, including jib cranes, bridge cranes, and other lifting solutions. The day concluded with an aperitif and dinner,

providing valuable opportunities for exchange, relationship building, and shared vision creation. On October 10, the focus shifted to Malo (Vicenza) to explore the H Series production plant. The group examined each phase of the manufacturing process, with emphasis on assembly stations enhanced by light handling systems designed to optimize workflow, reduce

MIS Group opened its headquarters and several production units to more than fifty commercial partners from

operational times, and improve ergonomics. The two-day program concluded at

Villa Sesso Schiavo in Sandrigo, where the CEO presented the H Series hoist, detailing its design, development challenges, and operational capabilities. The presentation highlighted how OMIS’s core values— ambition, care, integrity, and passion— materialize in this cutting-edge solution. A workshop followed, fostering cross- company team building and productive dialogue, culminating in a closing lunch in the elegant Villa setting.

OMIS: Past, Present, and Global Future

Founded in 1967 in Italy’s industrial northeast, OMIS has built an international reputation for complete heavy-lifting solutions, including bridge cranes and process cranes, as well as single components like hoists and open barrel hoists. Its “all-in-one kit” formula is particularly appreciated by small manufacturers worldwide. OMIS operates globally with industrial

presence in three continents through OMIS Brasil and OMIS India, complemented by sales and service networks stretching from Europe to the Far East and as far as the MENA countries and Latin America. The recent acquisition of Elephant S.r.l., a leading Italian manufacturer of jib cranes and vacuum lifters, strengthens OMIS’s leadership in light-lifting markets and enhances

its ability to provide diverse, customized solutions. Continuous improvement in quality, technology, and after-sales support - including operator training - is central to OMIS’s strategy.
