CARGOTEC APPOINTS NEW PRESIDENT AND CEO

experience to the company, having held previous CEO positions and board memberships. Lindholm has been a member of Cargotec’s board of directors since 2021, and due to his appointment, was no longer available for re-election in Cargotec’s AGM on 23 March. Cargotec’s previous president and
CEO Mika Vehviläinen is to retire at the end of February 2024, but will remain at the disposal of the board of directors as an advisor from April this year until then. Cargotec subsidiaries include Kalmar (port straddle carriers and shuttle carriers are among its products), Hiab (which makes loader cranes and forestry cranes, for example) and MacGregor (which includes port cranes among the products it manufactures). “I’m honoured and excited to be leading Cargotec at such a pivotal moment in the company’s history, with a strong foundation and a clear vision into its next development phase of growth as we have communicated before,” said Lindholm. “With a talented team, a strong portfolio of businesses with decision-making close to customers, and a commitment to sustainability and profitable growth, I believe that the company is in an
