LIFTING & RIGGING SEMINAR REPORT AVAILABLE TO DOWNLOAD

he International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) has made the report from its 12th Lifting & Rigging Seminar
available for download. The 2022 event took place in Amsterdam and was aimed at those involved in both offshore renewable energy and offshore oil and gas (
https://tinyurl.com/yezzh24c). It provided an opportunity for IMCA members and industry colleagues to
participate in a forum, where attendees heard from experts actively involved in all aspects of lifting and had the opportunity to take part in Q&A sessions and workshops that will help to formulate the work programme for IMCA’s Lifting & Rigging Management Committee. The IMCA is the international trade association representing offshore marine contractors, service companies and the industry’s supply chain.
OFFSHORE CRANE AND LIFTING CONFERENCE DATE REVEALED
Its mission is to improve performance in the marine contracting industry. The organisation says that its “value proposition is to influence our industry in key technical, contractual, policy and regulatory matters that are in the collective best interest of the marine contracting industry”. The 2023 IMCA Lifting & Rigging Seminar will also take place in Amsterdam, on 26 October. ●

he 26th International Offshore Crane and Lifting Conference will take place in Stavanger, Norway on 6-7
June 2023. The conference provides an opportunity to learn about the latest developments in offshore crane and lifting technology. Attendees will be able to benefit from presentations given by experts in the field, who will share their knowledge on various topics related to offshore crane and lifting operations. The conference also offers a
networking opportunity – visitors will be able to meet and interact with other professionals and industry leaders, including the engineers, operators and safety experts who are involved in offshore crane and lifting operations. ●
