LOGIMAT 2026
complementing the cloud-based subscription models well-known in the software sector – is the growing availability of rental or leasing options for a wide range of process automation components and hardware systems. This development makes it easier, particularly for small and medium-sized companies, to begin automating their intralogistics operations. In Halls 7 and 9 the latest equipment and components from manufacturers of cranes, gates, loading technology and fire protection systems and solutions will also feature. Halls 8, 9 and 10 will highlight the latest developments in intralogistics mobility. Nearly all leading industrial truck manufacturers will travel to Stuttgart in March, filling Halls 9 and 10 with the newest improvements and innovations in automated guided vehicles and alternative powertrain systems. Visitors will also be able to preview new models of traditional industrial trucks with integrated lithium-ion batteries and load capacities ranging from 4–7t, a new electric counterbalance forklift truck with a capacity of up to two tonnes available in three or four-wheel models, and an innovative autonomous robo-picker. The range of new accessories and components will include a camera system with active alert and assistance technologies, advances in more stable and secure lithium battery technology seamlessly integrated into robotics systems, next-generation biometric access systems for forklifts and an upgraded telemetry system for warehouse forklifts. Specialised manufacturers of automated guided vehicles (AGVs), autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), and carrybots will be concentrated in Hall 8. As transport and picking robot technologies mature, the focus is increasingly on integrating AI to optimise fleet control and transport performance, as well as on further enhancing warehouse safety through machine vision and sensor technology. The Mobile Robotics User Forum on the gallery level of Hall 6 will provide deeper insights into these topics, offering potential buyers unbiased expert consultation from members of Forum- FTS. Hall 6 will otherwise be dominated by exhibitors specialising in packaging, packaging technology and container solutions. The product spectrum here centres on sustainability through reduced material usage, right sized packaging, circular economy concepts and reusable packaging solutions. The latest high-performance packaging lines and strapping machines will also demonstrate optimised consumption specifications and high throughput rates. Manufacturers from the broad field of automatic identification and data capture (AIDC) will gather in Hall 2 to present their latest products and solutions. In today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape, AIDC companies are systematically combining AI, next-generation sensors and machine vision to develop smart new labelling, information coding and data capture solutions that deliver improved efficiency across a wide variety of applications. The state-of- the-art solutions on display will range from innovative scanners to RTLS and RFID systems, as well as advanced new materials for single-use labels, reusable labels, e-paper and radio-controlled e-labels.
Automation, the capture and processing of analogue information and the control of systems and processes remain the core domain of software. In Hall 4, specialised software developers will join industrial machinery and equipment manufacturers and systems integrators to present their latest innovations for warehouse management. Today’s new solutions feature integrated AI models for reliable analytics and forecasting, cloud applications and increasingly scalable subscription models for warehouse management and control systems. “Visitors to LogiMAT 2026 can expect to once
again experience hundreds of European and global product launches across all segments of the industry,” promises exhibition director Ruchty. “It’s a unique lineup that includes a conference-level programme of accompanying events with 25 prestigious expert forums now occupying two on-site venues, exhibitor insights presented by LogiMAT’s very own, the new Smart Maintenance Lounge, LogiMAT CareerDay, the popular Tracking and Tracing Theatre focused on AIDC technologies, the Cargo Securement Event Space and the Mobile Robotics User Forum. Given the challenging conditions that many industries face, LogiMAT offers an ideal platform for solutions and an industry barometer providing critical insights into emerging trends and sustainable solutions.”
