DURHAM LIFTING UNVEILS MULTISEC MULTI-POINT 34T HEAVY LIFTING BEAM

D

urham Lifting has expanded its hire fleet with the introduction of the Multisec Multi-Point 34t heavy lifting beam, designed

to handle complex and heavy lifting tasks across industries like construction, manufacturing, and offshore operations. With a lifting capacity of 34 tons and a span of 10.5 meters, the beam offers a versatile and reliable solution for a wide range of applications. “We understand the challenges our

clients face when lifting heavy, complex loads. The Multi-Point 34t beam is built to handle demanding conditions while providing the flexibility needed for various lifting configurations. Whether it’s lifting large, irregular loads or ensuring even weight distribution, this beam offers the reliability our customers expect,” said Wan Djawad, technical director, Durham Lifting. A standout feature of the Multisec Multi-

Point 34t Heavy Lifting Beam is its ability to maintain full load capacity at sling-to- vertical angles of 30° and 45°.

This ensures the beam delivers consistent performance even in challenging lifting scenarios, without compromising safety or efficiency. Additionally, the beam is equipped with ISO 1328-compliant forklift pockets, streamlining transportation and on-site positioning. Manufactured to meet BS EN 1993-1- 1:2005 and BS EN 13155 standards, the Multisec Multi-Point beams are rigorously tested to guarantee safety and reliability. All products undergo extensive proof

load testing at Britannia Testhouse, ensuring they meet the highest industry standards. “Safety is at the core of everything we do.

Our customers rely on us for dependable lifting solutions, and we take that responsibility seriously. By testing to the highest standards, we ensure our products perform flawlessly when it matters most,” Djawad added. The 34t Heavy Lifting Beam is available

for immediate hire, with Durham Lifting and Multisec offering the flexibility to

manufacture additional models from the Multisec Multi-Point range to meet specific project requirements. With optimal lug spacing—150mm for heavy-duty beams and 250mm for lighter models—the beams ensure even load distribution, reducing strain on lifting equipment and enhancing overall operational efficiency. Durham Lifting’s range of heavy lifting equipment includes spreader beams, corner units, and the Multi-Point system, with capacities ranging from 13 to 600 tons. The company’s ongoing investment in its

hire fleet ensures that clients have access to the latest lifting solutions, with tailored support for projects of all sizes. The Multisec Multi-Point 34t Heavy Lifting Beam is now available for hire, offering a high-quality, efficient solution for lifting heavy and complex loads. Whether for short-term hire or custom-

built to meet specific project needs, Durham Lifting and Multisec provide expert guidance and support to ensure clients achieve optimal lifting solutions.
