Dacia Duster Commercial

Te Duster Commercial comes with two petrol engines, the 1.0-litre TCe 90 or the 1.0-litre TCe 150, or the 1.5-litre Blue dCi diesel engine, which develops 115hp. A six-speed manual gearbox is standard but dual-clutch auto is offered with the TCe 150 unit. It comes in 4×4 and 4×2 versions and in two specification grades: Essential and Expression. Essential features LED daytime running

lights, body-coloured bumpers, black roof bars with ‘Duster’ inscription, 16in steel

Sample model: Duster Commercial Expression Blue DCi 115 4x2

wheels, air conditioning, electric front windows, cruise control with speed limiter, seven-function on-board computer, height- and reach-adjustable steering wheel with backlit controls, DAB radio with Bluetooth connectivity and a USB connection. Moving up to Expression adds 16in

alloy wheels, body-colour door handles, front fog lights, heated and electrically adjustable door mirrors, rear-view camera with parking sensors, hill descent control with a centre differential lock on 4×4 models. Te interior gains upgraded upholstery, a height-adjustable driver’s

seat with lumbar adjustment, and Dacia’s Media Display infotainment system with an 8in touchscreen, smartphone pairing for both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and two USB ports. Not surprisingly the Duster Commercial

is car-like and as such is pleasant to drive. Access to the 1.6m3

beats the Corolla Commercial’s 1.3m3

503kg load space, which 425kg

provision, is via the rear tailgate or two side doors, all of which are retained from the Duster passenger car. Te Commercial has the rear seats removed and replaced with a flat load floor.

Fiat Professional e Doblo

Like its Stellantis stablemates, the little electric Fiat gets a 50kWh battery that provides a range of 205 miles. An 80% battery recharge can be completed in 30 minutes. Power comes from an electric motor producing 136hp and 270Nm of torque. Tere are three driving modes – Eco, Normal and Power – giving access to 60%, 80% and 100% of battery energy, and three levels of regenerative braking retardation. Performance is impressively zippy when Power is selected, although staying for long in this mode will reduce the overall range. Te e Doblo handles well – its adjustable,

sporty steering wheel adds to the sense of fun when driving. By choosing the strongest setting for regenerative braking, one-foot driving can be accomplished safely on most routes.

Te e Doblo is offered with two or three

seats – with the latter the middle seat back folds down to make a table/work surface. Two trim levels are up for grabs: Doblo

and Primo. Both get a pair of USB sockets, DAB radio and Bluetooth and the Primo adds the multimedia Navi Pro infotainment system with a 10in touchscreen and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
