Offering support to someone you know is struggling with suicidal thoughts is easier than you think if you:

• Talk: Don’t hold yourself back and approach them. There is no reason to be afraid to bring up talking about their thoughts around suicide. Talk transparently about feelings and concerns. Seek professional help if required based on the information you have gathered.

• Listen: Tell them not to hold themselves back when sharing their thoughts, problems, and concerns. Give them as much time as required and assure them you are there to offer support whenever needed.
