The target figures has been jointly agreed by policing and the Home Office
by the end of May 2024. It is hoped that by with a concerted effort, searches can exceed 200,000 across England and Wales.
Biometrics programme, and endorsed by the Policing Minister Chris Philip. Forces are also actively encouraged
to share their case studies and RFR successes with the NPCC and Home Office Biometrics Programme team. Good news and progress reports will be circulated as the campaign progresses.
