The Development Of Green Growth Programme For 2021–2025

The Green Growth Program (PPEH) has entered its third phase for the period 2021–2025. The Ministry of National Development Planning/ Bappenas as the implementing unit, together with Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), have put together the Country Planning Framework (CPF) 2021–2025. This CPF document will serve as a framework for PPEH’s cooperation for the next five years.

This document is prepared in line with the Government of Indonesia’s strategic action plan as outlined in the National Medium-Term Development Plan (Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Nasional or RPJMN) 2020–2024 and Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC), with the hope that this cooperation will provide strategic support to the Indonesian Government in achieving its Green economic growth ambitions. The initial consultation was carried out by GGGI with Bappenas in November 2020 intensively. Since January 2021, the drafting process has entered the next stage, namely consultation with ministries/agencies that will become technical partners on the Green growth projects under PPEH. This consultation meeting is important to serve as a basis for cooperation so that the programmes are in line with the needs, as well as planning and development priorities. Before entering the final stage, a public consultation meeting will be arranged to agree on the results of the bilateral meetings that have been held.
