LIVERPOOL AND WIRRAL FIRMS JOIN FORCES TO OFFER THEIR CUSTOMERS A BETTER SERVICE
Elite, Liverpool, and Seven Callback Cars, Wirral, have joined forces to offer their customers a better service and promote the values of both companies. Rev’d Paul Newbery, who has been in and out of the industry for over 30 years, launched Elite in January 2022 and worked to build his busi- ness in Sefton on a corporate level. After recently meeting Patsy Caran, owner of long established Wirral firm, Sevens Callback Cars, they realised their companies had the same ethos - they both believe in looking after their drivers and putting customers first. Sevens have fought off buyout
offers as Patsy didn’t want to be swallowed up by a larger company but had recently made the difficult decision to cut down the firms operating hours. After lots of discussions and exploring system options the two firms finally joined forces. By syncing their bookings via the
iCabbi dispatch system, Sevens now has the ability to welcome old and new passengers 24/7 using many different booking options. The existing customers who love to talk to a person are well looked after, whilst new customers can now book via the passenger app. Paul explained: “We are main- taining our individuality whilst working together to ensure all our customers are being picked up by either fleet of drivers with the great service they’ve always been used to. So the 1st February 2024 was our day! We celebrated with an open day in the office for new and existing drivers to pop in.”
TAKE ME GROUP LTD ADDS SOUTHERN TAXIS BRIGHTON LTD TO NETWORK
Take Me Group Ltd is pleased to announce that Southern Taxis Brighton Ltd joined the network in February 2024. David Hunter, CEO of Take Me Group said: “We have been talking with Andrew
Cheesman at
Southern Taxis for a number of years and the timing is now right to add them to our network.” Andrew has been in the business for 27 years, so his wealth of knowledge and experience, which can be shared back into the Take Me Group, will be invaluable. When asked why joining Take Me worked for his taxi business now, Andrew said: “Years ago as a PGA Pro Golfer, I worked in the Pro Shops at Golf courses, and learned the power of being part of a larger network of Pro Golf shops. We

made bulk purchases, reducing costs and increasing profits. The Take Me Group will help my business in the same way today. “The knowledge that the group brings will add to my own, and together we will offer customers a better service.” Take Me Group’s John Gardner was asked what had attracted him to the South Coast to extend the network. He explained: “The group has been expanding and we already
have real strength in the South East areas from Plymouth, through Taunton and up into the Midlands corridor, so I thought it important to work with Andrew’s teams to extend our reach along the south coast. “In the end, the real winners will be the customers who will be able to book taxis in multiple locations, all with the same great local service delivered by fantastic owners such as Andrew.” 2024 is looking like it will be another busy year for the team at Take Me Group, and David Hunter explained: “This year is shaping up to be a turbocharged ride for us as we rev up to welcome several new taxi businesses into our ever- expanding network. If you are ready to hop on board or want to discuss your business needs, give us a call.”
