New finance suppliers:
We have moved away from our previous finance company, since most applicants were being rejected, or asked for a guarantor. The new one is far more helpful, approving far more applicants and offering finance at 0% interest for up to six months, although a £50 admin fee is chargeable.
This makes the system far more affordable for you. Tax Deductable:
Our system is of course fully tax deductible as a business expense for those who reach the tax threshold and have tax to pay.
Reduced insurance:
You might also get insurance reductions since we provide the forward-facing camera as standard, where allowed. We have three insurance agents on our website which have insurers on board.

After nearly eight years of trying to find a product which can be used within taxi and PHVs,
FINALLY, we have partnered with Road Angel which has amended its product for us to provide a fully compliant external view only dashcam with:
1. Winter mode (keeps windscreen clear in icy conditions) 2. Parking mode (trigger on impact to record collisions) 3. Battery monitoring mode (measures to ensure no drainage and flat batteries,)
4. ZERO AUDIO to ensure it’s fully UKGDPR compliant. BUT WHY? Delays and problems obtaining footage:
For those where CCTV is mandatory, the council is the data controller, which means in the event of a collision, the driver has to go to the council to request any footage for insurance. This was inconvenient and

costly, and quite often was not actioned fast enough despite having a one month average recording cycle. So we had to find a solution which can only be a separate product that the drivers can access themselves.
Better resolution external images:
For others, the CCTV external cameras were not as clear as they would like, so we had to find a solution which offered better images, without reducing the recording cycle.
External cameras not allowed:
For those where the council does not allow external cameras to be included, they were installing an off the shelf dashcam, which had the ability to constantly record audio, and in many cases have internal cameras included. These are simply not fit for purpose or ICO compliant, so we have to find a solution where they could purchase a dashcam without the risk of being non-compliant.

We have also partnered with MOGO, to provide taxi licence holders, fire extinguishers, first aid kits and everything else to satisfy licensing requirements.

We are now working with trackit247 in the hope of being able to provide a UK-based tracking solution for all customers. Whilst our CCTV system includes GPS, it cannot be used as a tracker since that would require a more expensive device, and the sim card contract too. Since local authorities are the data controllers, the drivers/vehicle owners couldn’t log in to track the device anyway, so we had to f ind a solution for those who wish to track the vehicles in the event of vehicle theft.

Road Angel dashcam with front and rear view, and hard wire kit is £220 (£70 less than buying direct) plus installation fee of £50 if installed together with CCTV, or £70 if installed separately.
